This petition is for all the AP World History alumni and current students who believe AP World History should retain its rightful place as a higher level history option for sophomores.
APWH was not only a class, but a community that can only be created in the social environment of sophomore year. APWH not only teaches students world history, but teaches students the work ethic and study skills that an AP class requires- an especially invaluable skill as sophomores become juniors.
By signing your name, you stand with us in believing that AP World History should remain as a sophomore class, and should not be made a senior elective.
