My son has been playing ice hockey for the last 14 years it has kept him fit as wellad teaching him to be a team player to lose the is rink would affect a lot of people that use the rimk

A sporting facility with top ice hocky teams. A place where young skating talent can develope in order to compete at higher levels, a leisure facility enjoyed by children, adults and families from Basingstoke and beyond. The townn is rapidly expanding and can not afford to lose this facility. It can not be allowed to close.

It’s a disgrace the rink has fallen into disrepair. The rink and hockey are important institutions in Basingstoke and must remain. The amount of money wasted by the council and they are considering not investing in a health promoting venue. Build a rink worthy of a potential championship team and the revenue stream will follow from promotion to the Elite League.

The ice hockey teams bring prestige to the town & the rink encourages both local people & those who use if from further afield to participate in sport, it would be a loss to the town

Planet Ice are and absolute shambles, they have been running this place into the ground for years! It would be a crying shame to lose the Rink because of this negligence.

Been to this rink loads of times and going again at the end of the month. Every city needs an ice arena, not just for professional and amatuer sport but also to get kids off the street and into healthy exercise.
Get it fixed
