Basingstoke has a long ice hockey heritage - it’s important for the community and for the sport in the UK that this continues.

I use the ice rink often and enjoy watching ice hockey. It will be a tragedy to loose the rink as it is the only one in this are.

The ice rinks current state is a total disgrace, after many years of neglect and not enough investment, it's been run into the ground, such a shame.

To many of our rinks are being taken away from our kids which leaves them without being able to-do something they love

Don't let another rink close. Investigate all options to include one in a new multi-sport & leisure facility. Rinks can be viable with other sport & leisure attractions sharing the same site.

Signing in support of the skilled and tallented sychronised skating teams who we had the pleasure of welcoming to Nottingham last weekend. A venue like this enables the young people of the community to learn not just to ice skate, but to socilise, exercise and frankly maintain good mental and physical health. A cause worth fighting for without a doubt.

Council need to support the repairs or support planning permission for another site - you cannot affect stars of the future being grown in Basingstoke
