Keep an Ice Rink in Basingstoke

I have been skating here 7 years, would very much like it to stay

Speechless, yet another ice rink going.

KEEP THE RING OPEN!

Basingstoke rink should remain open for all that use it and enjoy this sport as well as for the local community.

I went to the rink the second day it opened. Myself and my two sons have been involved in ice hockey for 15 years in Basingstoke. It would be a terrible shame Basingstoke would lose so much talent

Please don’t close massive family fun for our community and many people from far afield every single week

Keeep the ice rink as it’s part of Basingstoke and ice skating has been a part of my life for years. However I suggest building another rink and then closing this down. Also I would hire new management and the arena manager is awful.

I visit several times a week and meet many friends on the ice. They range in age from 13 to 70. Where else can you meet such a range of people having fun? This is a fantastic resource, please ensure there is a replacement in the leisure park plans.

I really wanted to ice skate but now why is us closing just Why??

The rink brings so much joy to young and old. My dad is my mums carer, watching ice hockey is one time of the week he gets to escape, I’m not sure where he’d be without his couple of hours escape. This has been his Saturday evening since the ice rink open back in the late 80’s. Losing the rink would be a huge loss to him, my young family and the town.

Please pleaser please, keep an ice rink in Basingstoke.

This is needed for all ages and for the future of ice sports in this country
