I have been going to watch Bison play for a few years now, I travel from Eastleigh every week because it's such a pleasure to see the boys play. It would be a shame to take it away for them, the other teams who play there and us the fans!

Please resolve this current situation with the Basingstoke Ice Rink, we lost our Rink in the City of Durham and 1000's of people lost there social life and sporting activity centre. The demand for ice sports is growing. Thank you

I’ve been using the rink since it was first built and I now regularly take my children and socialise with family there. Why would you let a building that’s so central to community life go to ruin.

I have been a Syncro skater with the Basingstoke Ice Age team for over 6years. Trying the meet skating, training and national competition expectations is already hard enough while trying to hold down a full time demanding career, take away our local rink and it would impossible for me to continue skating.

Basingstoke is the only ice rink in the area apart from a long drive to Guildford. We would propose the council keep the ice rink open long enough until the new rink in Winchester is built -3-4 years. This is a valuable facility and my daughter would give up skating if it were to close.

The ice rink is an important part of Basingstoke and the leisure park. People don't use it because it's so run down. It needs investment and good management not removal from the public.
