This should be included in the redevelopment plans. Funds should be set aside to renovate, at least, as it's not a new build.

There aren't enough rinks in the south of England so to lose another would be a disaster!!

Basingstoke needs this facility and the crowds attending Bison matches bear testament to this.

Ice Hockey plays a big role in Basingstoke bringing revenue into the town from visiting teams. It is very much a family orientated sport with teams giving much back to the community.

Government worried about obesity, so keep the rink open. Skating is a great way to keep fit.

We have fought for years for this rink even when owned by the Council and it would be unthinkable and it would be unthinkable without it for the whole of Basingstoke to be left without this rink for generations to come

This is the nearest main ice rink to us that is open all year round it would be a shame to lose this especially as there are not many around now

The Basingstoke rink is a vibrant and vital part of the UKs ice hockey scene and gives thousands of people so much enjoy. Entertainment at every level of the sport from spectator to Pro athlete. Basingstoke has no other quality sports teams and I would be disappointed to see the Bison go. I would also be disappointed to loose the amateur stick and puck nights that are so popular and a main part of my weekly exerroutine.

Slough have spent around 7.5 million pounds refurbishing the Hanger Ice Rink. As some of the people have stated that Ice Hockey pulls in more REVENUE than Football/Rugby and other sports. KEEP AN ICE RINK AT BASINGSTOKE.

My wife and I have been season ticket supporters of the Bison (Beavers in earlier days) for 25 years and continue to be. My two adult sons grew up watching ice hockey and learnt to skate there and one had ice hockey training. My grandson is learning to skate with his Mum and Dad. An ice-rink is essential to Basingstoke to allow other families to enjoy the same experiences my family and I have had over many years - for example, fitness, learning new skills, a community and family interest in following the fortunes of 'our' team, the camaraderie created. The current rink must be maintained at a minimum standard to allow it to continue and a replacement included in the redevelopment of the Leisure Park. It's a 'no-brainer' - yet another shop versus one ice-rink; a rink 'wins' hands-down.
