it is something that sets Basingstoke apart from other nearby large towns such as Reading and Southampton. With all the investment in the access to Basingstoke and facilities is only going to bring more business.

I dont Skate myself but both my daughters use the rink on a Friday evening and enjoy it very much, so I believe its very important that we keep the ice rink in Basingstoke.

As a parent of a figure skater it would be devasting to lose the rink. It provides great exercise and giving children a unique skill. Please please keep an ice rink in Basingstoke.

Although I don't ice skate,its vital to have an ice rink,for all .including The Bisons,its a vital link in the community.
To not have an ice rink would be terrible,people would have to travel further out.

I haven’t personally used the rink in years, but have lots of great memories from when I was younger.
Now my son is getting to the age I was when I used it and is starting to use it himself. The rink staying would be part of his growing up and my daughters when she is old enough.
From watching the old beaver team to the bisons the rink must stay

My children learnt to skate and met their friends for a skate, also the ice hockey teams need somewhere to practice! If we lose this, we lose something special!

My whole family use this rink four/five times a week. It is a fantastic facility and will be a great loss to the whole community if it is not kept open through neglect of duty.

My 3 children love skating. It is something we do as a family activity and, as they are getting older, something they can do with friends too. Please keep it open.

Bison are the only senior top ranking sports club in basingstoke. Kids skate is one of the few all weather attractions around and sporns a lot of young hockey and dancing talent.
