This Ice-rink give so much pleasure to players/skaters parents and supporters.
It would be devastating to no longer have a rink in Basingstoke. Basingstoke is a Hockey Town and needs an ice-rink. “Period”

The rink has many users from the very young to the not so vey young! Ice Hockey is the single most watched sport in Basingstoke. We need an Ice Rink.

As a regular user (4times per week!) this rink is my saviour without it i would be lost and as an adult figure skater and part of the synchro team i think its more important than ever to keep such a vital community facility, it is never quiet at the rink!

Losing it's ice rink would be a huge loss to Basingstoke and I'm frankly amazed that the Council could be so short sighted and out of tune with voters that they would even consider omitting a rink from the development plans.

We need to be encouraging our youngsters away from video games and in to healthy activities we need the ice rink for this. Between figure skaters, Syncro skaters, ice hockey teams from young to older and the recreational skaters the rink is very well used and a new modern one will be even better supported. Encourage the young to stay fit.

A great shame if the rink was to close. My son had a great time playing for the Junior Bison. We would make the 70 mile round trip 3 days a week and loved it! Give the kids an outlet!
