Please keep the station. It allows the college kids to get to & from school when needed. I really appreciated it when I was attending VSU. My parents couldn't travel from NJ all the time, so they paid for me to catch the Amtrak train. It was very convenient & at a great location!

I started using the Amtrak train back in 1978, coming from New Jersey (14A) when I was a student at VSU and well after I graduated from VSU. I returned to Virginia some years ago and now when my family visits from New Jersey they use Amtrak. Please keep the train station in Ettrick, VA.

Ettrick is the only sensible and economical place to have the train station. It has and a continue to serve the surrounding communities.

The train station is a landmark in Ettrick. It needs to remain close to VSU for easy access for the students. Ettrick is close proximity to Colonial Heights.

This station is badly needed for passengers who live and compute in the Ettrick, Colonial Heights and Petersburg area. This station is my stop when I visit from up north and walk right to Dupuy Road. Where I was born and raise. Please don't take it away. Its holds a lot of members for the people in the community.

To close the Ettrick site would be disastrous for the students at Virginia State University. Many of the students do not have transportation to the station to get home, but because of the location, they can walk there to get home. So please help us to keep it here in the Ettrick Community.

It’s a historic station as well as provides a convenient way for students from up and down the east coast to reach their school (Virginia State U), and returning soldiers to report to Fort Lee.
Please keep the trains runnimg in Petersburg...
