GI children need to be looked after where they receive the best care and most definitely not to suit the bean counters

This will be an awful stressor on severely ill children, their Stressed parents who should be treated as partners in their care and the new nurses taking over their care clinical incident will occur.

All of the children that make up the group of GI patients have spent extensive amounts of time in hospital. This has led to them, and us their parents, forming trusting relationships with the nursing staff. These staff have all the training required to deal with our kids central lines and PN meaning we can feel safe leaving them on the ward briefly, to do the most basic things, like grabbing some food or nipping to the loo. To move them to another ward where the staff aren't familiar or trained with what is literally our childrens lifeline without any consultation with the parents is unacceptable.

this is on behalf of a very special young man i know Samuel Bell who has been treated here since he was born as was his baby sister they do a fantastic job and i would like to show my appreciation to them we need this ward kept open here on this side of Glasgow

My daughter Lauren is 8 years old and been going onto this ward sine she was born,Lauren and all the family class this ward our 2nd home.Lauren knows all the staff and I'm confident and comfortable enough to at times have to leave Lauren at night because we know the staff so well and they know Lauren so well.The care Lauren and the other pn kinds receive us very complexed and can at times be a very personal nature so please let's keep these kids together at least till the new hospital is open then it could be reviewed.

these kids need consistency in the amount of care they need, the last thing they need is to be shifted from pillar to post
This is awful news. . my nephew is in and out of ward 4b and v this wld affect him terribly living worth his condition and having a Central line is hard enough plse don't make his 2nd home less inviting and safe for him
