Having spent months in Yorkhill with my son I know how important it is to have staff continuity, not just for the ongoing medical care of the children but for the relationships that are built over time. These children deserve the best possible care which includes stability of surroundings and familiar faces

my son attends this ward once every three weeks, not including the emergency admissions. we have grown a great relationship with the staff and more importantly Harley trusts them and knows them and he's only 20months.

I have a friend with a beautiful little girl who is far too oftener in the hospital but at least when she is there she knows where she is and hss relationships with the angels who look after her. Please think of these sick children before you close their ward.

The difficulties the children are coping with are so extreme, think of them and their families and keep them safe where they know. Keep the ward open
