Patti & I share the concern about moving the fireworks off the river. I have contacted the Founders' Day fireworks representative who stated that donations for the fireworks have dried up and that the Founders' Day committee is trying to pay the $12,000 to $14,000 cost via revenue generation at the new site. No details of this revenue generation were given.
Fleet 17 member, Steven Riggio has pledge $2,000 to the fireworks through his company, Riggio/Boron Ltd.

Perhaps there is a way for people signing this petition and gather additional sponsors.

Please don't remove the great fireworks that everybody enjous observing on the Fox River. It makes Algonquin unique and wonderful!

I vote moving the entire Founders Days to its original location...the bypass is done...bring it back to Towne Park!

If this these fireworks are not moved back to the Fox, I will cancel my volunteer hours! Why are you messing with tradition?!?
