In this day and age of increased awareness it's an embarrassment to all to "ship a child" elsewhere for their education. All children should graduate with their siblings and community!

I fought to keep my children in Westhampton beach. My late husband and I were reported to CPS twice. The first time it was found Westhampton educationally neglected my son. The second time was the week of thanksgiving 2010 while my husband was in a hospital losing his battle to bile duct cancer. I begged the board of education to please take my husbands name off the CPS report. I told them I didn't want him to die with his name on such a list. My husband died and after his death CPS said he was reported in error and I was not guilty. My kids hate the school and everything about it. One son was bullied. I have since moved to N.C. I paid 8,000 in taxes to have my family punished for tying to keep them in westhampton. I now pay 1961 and they provide everything in house and it is a gold medal school second in the state of NC. West Forsyth school actually cares about kids.
