Keep Acacia Schools Open

We are doing everything within our power to reform TVLC! Please give us the time to prove it and do not revoke our charter. Our staff, students, parents are wonderful, and I'm proud to be their principal. Please allow us to continue what we have started in building 21st Century Learning Schools!

Charter schools are important to our community and to the children that attend them. Please do not close Acacia Schools we need them and the kids are getting a valuable education. Our kids are the future generation good schools are important.

I am a committed parent volunteer with the amazing Acacia Charter Elementary team. I am honored to say that Acacia Charter Elementary has been a blessing you my two girls. Jyzel (8)and Jyzabel Hai-Pek (7) have grown in many ways (socially and community involvement). I believe in the mission statement that Acacia has; that is why we are there to begin with. For the two years of my experiences with Acacia Charter Elementary, I've witness the changes and I strongly believe that this school delivers it's mission and has one of the best opportunity for our future leaders in the Greater Stockton area . The Principle, staff, and the parent volunteers genuinely cares about our entire school and their best interest in our children's future success. We understand that there were some changes at Corporate level that is effecting us all, but please consider that the team that is place will assure to make the right decisions for our 700 plus students and leave a legacy for everyone that is involved. It is my commitment to my children at Acacia to increase community service and to acknowledge our life-skill challenges in Stockton to improve for as long as New Jerusalem continues to keep us open. Many surrounding schools are full, it will be hard for all of us to just find another school in a short period of time. Consider the effects of the all of our children as they will be our future that will be taking charge in our future decisions. How can anyone, let alone an educator, want to close down a school a month prior to the beginning of the school year? These kids deserve the best and the best is given at Acacia. The teachers and staff work their behinds off day and night to provide for these children. That is RARE to find. Keep Acacia schools open!

I love this school. I don't want to see it closed down and I don't want my child to go to any other school. My child has blossomed at the school that's to the amazing teachers and staff.
