Most of yall that moved to Harrah moved here because it isnt a busy town and Fall Creek is a nice rural neighborhood. Last week, a news article showed that a Comfort Inn was being built in front of the Fall Creek Subdivision on Harrah rd and Reno. I don't know if signing this will get them to change their mind but it's the only way we may have a chance of stopping them. Our home value will plummet and our neighborhood will not feel safe anymore. Tons of home owners are wanting to sell their home because of this and it just isnt right. All Tim cares about is making money and not the fact that the hotel will be a dump, quickly. Please help spread the word, all it takes is a signature!

I spent the whole morning staring at the empty lot on Harrah Road and honestly it just looks like a disaster waiting to happen for all of us. People keep messaging me saying they are terrified about the traffic and the noise because we bought here for the quiet rural vibe not to live next to some corporate chain hotel that is probably going to fall apart in five years anyway. I am trying to get a meeting with someone who actually understands zoning laws so I will let you know what happens if I can ever get a straight answer out of anyone.

I’ve lived in Harrah for 50 years. If I wanted to live in the “big city”, I’d move there. Stop trying to force the city on us who just want a home in the quiet country. After 50 years, I’m seriously considering moving. Not everyone wants to grow!
If you are going to build a hotel do it away from neighborhoods. There are families that live here in this neighborhood and they want their kids to be safe. Don't destroy their property values. Do it over by the turnpike or out by I 40.
A hotel does not belong in residential areas. Soon there will be other commercial properties built all around it and Harrah Rd will become another 23rd St.
This would ruin the small town feeling. That's the reason most move here. We can get to okc in 30 minutes and still live in small town Harrah.
We bought our place on Harrah to get away from the city and get back to small town living. The location would be less than a mile from our place. Driving down property values and increasing crime is a definite fear since we have witnessed this first hand from our previous location. It maybe time to sell before the market falls.
It makes no sense to put a hotel in this part of Harrah. Choose somewhere else.

They need to relocate. Our property values will decline and I dont want them looking in our homes or yards! You will have people visiting Mabel Bassett. Fully against this hotel.
