As adults, we have a responsibility to provide children the moral guidance that puts them on the right path. We need to encourage and cultivate environments that facilitate positive growth, making it possible to teach children and youth that they can accomplish anything they set their minds to. The protest is frivilous in an attempt to completely ban practice instead of ensuring that the cheer team lawfully abides to noise regulations IE: no practice after 8 pm would be graciously feasible, and additionally announcing all events that would otherwise go past typical 10pm cut off is deemed necessary. Sounds like a bunch of privelaged adults who feel entitled when they trutfully and lawfully are not owed an apology. A typical ordinance prohibits loud noises between 11 p.m. and 7 or 8 a.m. on weekdays and 11 p.m. or midnight until 8 to 10 a.m. on Sundays and holidays.

Shame on the gated community!! Spoiled rotten! I live in a gated community, you can’t control noise unless it is beyond the noise ordinance at night.

My daughter was in competive cheer for 13years. Not once we’re there any complaints from neighbors or businesses about noise. If Bay doors are closed it’s truly not a big deal. The kids work hard at what they do and deserve to do it in peace.

Outrageous that this is even being questioned , shouldn’t even have to go throw this to be where they are if it helps kids .

Proud parent of an all-star cheerleader at Champion Cheer Allstars, Justin, Texas. There is no better place for young people to be than in a cheer gym!

Noise from youths engaging in something positive. The community needs to support this, instead of being NIMBYs.
