I'm assuming the complaining has been going on for a while. Measures to keep the noise down /sound proofing etc should have been done prior to it escalating to this. It isn't a lot to ask to not have to hear cheerleaders screaming on a daily basis. Just because it was a cheer gym prior to, ultimately the team doesn't own the property. I doubt the homeowners knew about the noise prior to. What a nightmare I'm glad I don't live next to a cheer gym. I'm pretty sure that the noise affects the property values as well. Everyone needs to put themselves in the other person's shoes and compromise. It sounds like it might be too late for that.

These people bought there home knowing there was a cheer gym there because Diamond cheer was there before these homes were even built, there complaining about the noise but they never said he was video taping the kids in there gym shorts and I don’t know what kid of person he is.

First off, all day and all night is not a fact. The gym does not operate 24/7. Please get you facts correct before mouthing off.
Secondly, don't talk about my parenting skills when you have absolutely no idea who we are as parents.
You appear to be the selfish one "Anonymous".
There is always a common ground that we can all work together with to avoid these issues rather than just slamming South Bay Divas.
Get your facts straight and quit judging.

As well as you don’t have room to judge us as parents. Who by the way most all of us DO own our own homes, and your right we wouldn’t want to hear noise all day while home which is why as a homeowner I would NEVER invest in a property that’s near a industrial area, airport, train station, or any area that I knowingly will be subject to disturbances of any kind. The homes closest to the gym are even priced lower for those specific reasons. Don’t blame the children who are doing something positive and productive In their lives. It comes down to people that want something to make a big deal when they’re energy should be on bigger issues in our community like the homeless encampments all over the city being used for drug addicts and human traffficking. Let these kids be, no one knows what each one may be going through in their personal lives, this place may be there outlet!! Don’t judge, that is exactly what we teach our kids not to be in this misguided world we live in these days.

Diamond AllStars started at the facility In 2013 while these homes were being built and before they were even done and ready for anyone to chose to move to. As stated in the petition message above, Diamond all stars closed their doors and for our youth to continue with their dreams, the Divas took over the gym space so they can properly take over the growing amount of kids they now had coming into their program. So when the math is done the cheer gym ( whether it was Diamonds or Divas ) was there prior to the homes. I belong to both gyms since the start of diamonds, that is how I know this fact.

It's understandable to want the kids to have the gym. But imagine living next to it. Obviously the noise was out of control. You can't just make a bunch of noise next to some homes and think that just because you're playing a sport that it's ok. You KNOW cheer is loud. You all go to competitions. Would you want to live next to that? A cheer gym needs to be away from homes in an industrial area. Just because it's an "industrial building" doesn't make it ok to violate noise regulations for neighboring homes. I feel for the kids, but I feel for the homeowners as well.

This is so sad. The Divas are so much fun to see in the San Pedro Holiday Parade. The kids always look like they are having so much fun. Crossing my fingers you find a new location.
