Keep Ms Waters with Ocean Air/DMUSD , for the success of various Science Programs at Ocean Air

Ms. Waters is a great asset to Ocean Air. Our two daughters have enjoyed participating and have learned a lot in activities she has led such as Science Field Day, Garden Club and Zoo Crew.

Ms Waters is one of the best teacher in OA. She care about her students. Both my son and daughter join the SO program in OA. They enjoyed it and learned a lot from her. I hope my third child will have a chance to take her class and join SO at OA. She did a great job in running the SO program. Parents from other school wish their school have the same program. Please help find some to keep Ms Waters at OA!

I cannot imagine someone who would put their ❤️ and soul into the Science classes and numerous school activities as much as Ms. Waters did throughout all these years at Ocean Air School. Ms. Waters not only inspires students to explore science and sparkle a genuine interest beyond the regular class program, she also made me and my kids proud to be part of the Ocean Air School community recognized at the state level. Her love and passion to kids and science reflected into many students who chose to continue their paths through science subjects in middle schools, high school and universities. I hope that Ocean Air reconsider their decision as it would be very hard to find equally dedicated teacher and organizer who would unite so many parents and kids.

Ms Waters is a great teacher! For all the time , effort and love she devoted to OA students, parents and school, she deserves respect and rounds of applauds. I witnessed how much she devoted for the community. We cannot not let such a great teacher go. Cannot.

Mrs. Waters has made science more enjoyable for many of us. She inspires us all to keep working and even if we run into a problem, she gives us ways to solve them. She works extremely hard to manage our Ocean Air Science Olympiad team and works harder than most of the teachers out there. She works extremely hard and spends hours upon hours making a lesson that everyone will enjoy and learn from.

I really only have fond memories of science with Ms. Waters. Zoo Crew and the gel electrophoresis have stayed with me, although many other things didn’t.

She was the SO coach for my daughter several years ago. As a voluteer coach, I knew the efforts 1st hand she put in. Now my son is enjoying her science teaching. I wish she would receive a fair treatment.

Mrs. Waters is a dedicated teacher who has encouraged many kids to pursue science. She spends so much personal time in organizing Science Field Day, Science Olympiad and other programs, which have brought much prestige to Ocean Air. It will be quite difficult to fill her shoes.

I graduated from Ocean Air in 2014. Ms. Waters built phenomenal Science Olympiad and Science Field Day teams, but more importantly, she demonstrated immense PASSION in everything she did. Science classes were always engaging. She built an amazing community of students that now have a huge love for science. I would never have gotten into science without Mrs. Waters - she sparked my enthusiasm. She did the same for my sister, a current student at Ocean Air. She loved participating in Science Olympiad, Science Field day, Zoo Crew, Garden Club, and STEAM+ Science classes run by Mrs. Waters. Mrs. Waters works incredibly hard. She has already begun preparing for the next year of competition by reaching out to alumni for help coaching. Her experience is crucial to making the programs run smoothly. Many schools have excellent academics, but most don't have a Mrs. Waters. Mrs. Waters is a huge part of what makes Ocean Air uniquely special. Mrs. Waters is an unforgettable teacher. She has built an amazing program and community here at Ocean Air. It will be very, very, very, hard to find another Mrs. Waters who can keep up everything that Mrs. Waters currently does. Without her, Ocean Air will not be the same.
