Red Apple has always been an anchor of the neighborhood, reminding us all that Kirkland residents still have small-town values. I love that they support local families and hire local kids.

It is so true that the bridle trails red app,e is a community treasure and it would be tragic to loose it! The Red Apple gives us a sense of not only community but friendship and personalization in a world that is becoming too less personalized.

Great neighborhood store. We do not need another Dollar store or Grocery Outlet. Tacky!

Biking here as a child was always a blast. A quality, welcoming grocery store that would be missed.

WE need to retain the character of Kirkland - we arent Redmond or Bellevue and dont want high density.

It seems more than odd when houses in our area are selling for over $1M that the owners of the shopping center would even THINK that Bridle Trails/Rose Hill residents would want to shop at a dollar store or a discount grocery store! That isnt the type of establishements we frequent.

ROIC is a San Diego based public company who couldn't give a lick about what people in Bellevue, Redmong or Kirkland want. However, the also own the shopping area that includes IHOP on NE 20th and 148th Ave ND and Crossroads shopping center. From my standpoint if Red Apple closes, I can assure ROIC that I will consciously try not to shop at Bellevue Marketplace or Crossroads in the future. I would suggest others to do the same.

Their is SO much to be said fr a GREAT, renown Neighborhood grocery in lieu of a Dollar Store..REALLY! ! A new one is a Mile away on 85th St.Come on..City of Kirkland is wealthy!.Citizens pay lots monthly for waste, water, sewer and Taxes! Kirkland has had charm and lots of City parks for ALL to access! We Don't want a homogenous town looking like lots of greater America! I've been in All States. A quality, community grocer some can walk or cycle or ride a horse to is a treasure! Also (cutting down on horrific traffic concerns!) Mybe you'll meet a new neighbor and build on your community! Money can't always replace the Value of what creates a Home..Kirkland is already undergoing such angular modernization. CHANGE isn't always progress. Busy neighbors need a nearby grocery far more then dollar items. Again City of Kirkland already authorized $ store a mile away! As valued residents, PLEASE listen! Take care of us and the sweet Hamlet we call home!

Keep Red Apple!!! It makes that mall complete. Without a supermarket there the value of living so near and having access to pretty much everything one needs will disappear!!!

Bridle Trails Red Apple is a neighborhood treasure and losing it would be a devastating blow to our community. The staff and owners are all wonderful folks with a strong community spirit, and they are a big part of why we love living here. There is NO excuse for doubling their lease and forcing them out.
