This neighborhood store employed dozens of my friends as I was growing up just around the corner. The employees knew my name, and the small businesss feel helped this area remain a place where I wanted to live.

As a Bridle Trails area resident, I oppose the decision to double the Red Apple lease rate which will force them to close. This small, unique independent-chain grocery store is a vital establishment to our neighborhood. They sell many items you cannot find at the huge grocery chains in the area. Red Apple grocery is necessary at the Bridle Trails location--and not "5 and dime" stores like Dollar Tree (there's already one 15 blocks north on 85th), or stores that continually change their product lines on the basis of what overstocked or closeout items are currently available like Grocery Outlet. I do not shop at these stores, and will not endorse them in the future.

I love this grocery store!!! It has the neighborhood feel with excellent customer service and great quality. It's a travesty that the landlord is trying to force them out. I hope they come to their senses and realize how important the Red Apple Market is to our community!!

Please realize that Red Apple is not just a grocery store to residents of Bridle Trails. It is a finely honed operation that has matched its tastes and products to a very selective demographic of the neighborhood, and as such, they are OUR neighbor. Substituting them for another operation is not possible, and we are up in arms about the thought of losing them. We also feel as if there is not an understanding about our neighborhood in the corporate office of ROIC, and this deeply concerns us. Pls reconsider keeping out valuable neighbor in the neighborhood where they belong.

We have lived here 32 years. The Red Apple has been our main source of food and household needs. Please reconsider the impact this closure will have on the local aging population.
