Comments like these reflect someone who isn’t truly interested in preventing violence, at least not if that violence aligns with their personal beliefs. Anyone holding such a stance is unfit for public office, because leaders should defend the safety and rights of all citizens, not only those who agree with them.

Public Servants should make all people feel safe and cared for no matter their political beliefs. This man is making many feel unsafe and even threatened if they believe different than him. He must be removed to show that hateful speech has consequences. The hate must stop!
