Realistic increases in dental benefits and their maximums respectively to the rising premium costs is the ethical thing to do. As well as to make changes that reflect the actual costs of our goods as well as the costs of education and personnel that is completing those services is only ethical. Especially when their are provider shortages. Thank you for considering.

As our overhead costs continue to rise, insurance annual maximum amounts and fee schedules need to respond accordingly or quality of care and access to care will be affected

Dental practices' overhead has increased substantially over the past 3 years. Reimbursement by insurers is necessary to help cover some of those costs, so the uninsured aren't shouldering a disproportionate share after fees are raised.

Dental practice business input costs have increased significantly due to Covid, supply chain issues, labor market increases, abuse of federal and state economic assistance programs. We business owners can raise our fees, but without movement of the reimbursement level by insurance companies the private pay patients will shoulder most of the fee increase.

This needs to happen or quaity of care will be affected due to the large increase in dental supply costs and staff wages in the last few years.
