This is in Re: to the billing of water and sewage in the Town of Prescott Valley, Az. Resolution #66 and the Town Utility Regulations! I believe these are the proper regs. My name is Kevin and I live in the town of Prescott Valley, Az. I have been here for approximately eight years. During this time, I have paid extremely high water and sewage bills. I have taken every measure that I know to take; trying to get the city to bill me fairly. After many failed attempts, I placed an article in the Prescott Daily Courier asking for any residents that have the same problem with their billing of Water and Sewage to sign this Petition. If we come together in numbers and don't allow the Town to isolate our problems, we may get changes to the bill. I am willing to work to have this happen but, I need your help. Please Sign! I am not against paying what I owe and paying for what I use. But, according to Res. #66. The town has the right to increase the cost for the water they sell you; if you use more than they want you too. The fee's go from $2.90 per thousand of gallons used to $4.52 ( This is gouging and usery.) Example: if we own two vehicles; one being a compact that we can fill for $2.19 per gallon (presently). Would it be fair to pay $4.10 per gallon to fill a full size truck. The same gasoline, just using more in the larger vehicle. I don't think this is fair. And then the Town of Prescott Valley charges us a second time. This is called SEWAGE! We have to pay for water that we use for landscape purposes; as if we are flushing our toilets or showering. My sewage bill is sometimes as much as my water or more. How can this be I am tired of the Town of Prescott Valley Stealing from me and you. Its happening to many of us. Since, I ran the editorial article many have replied and complained about the same thing. Please read and sign this Petition so that we may have a chance to get this before Legislation and or the Town and get this bill changed. So, that it will be fair for all. Thank you.....Kevin
