Hi everyone!
Thanks for showing interest in new music from Kayla Luky (that's me!) The Time it Takes (no pun intended) to get new music into your ears also takes an incredible amount of resources including time from musicians and artists and of course money.
This is an effort to convince Provincial and Federal granting organizations that they can confidently support this project - with all you guys behind it!
Please sign the petition if YOU'D like to hear some new music from Kayla Luky (that's me!) This does NOT mean you have to buy it right now, listen to it, or even like me (right now ;)) just that you believe that I should release some new music and that our Provincial and Federal granting organizations should also support it!

The process of trying to secure these grants is honestly exhausting and often feels like shouting into the void. I am still putting together the applications behind the scenes but it is slow work that takes a heavy toll. Thank you for sticking with me while I try to make this happen.

I believe there should be funding for these projects..it is no different than any other "new business"
Kayla is amazing!!! Me and my teenage daughters love to listen to her music!!! We need more!!!!
I believe that music is happy, healing and soothing. As an artist myself I understand the courage and passion it takes to follow your dreams and put your efforts into making them a reality. The government should support the endeavors of those that are moving forward in life and inspiring others.
I would love to see more new songs from Kayla; please consider this my note of support to wanting to see more new releases from a great young songwriter from the Riding Mountains of Manitoba. Thank you.
Would love to hear new music from Kayla. She's a very talented singer/song writer with a completely Canadian perspective lyrically.

I hear a fair bit of crap in the space of any given twelve month period. People often release a CD "just because they can". Luckily, quality (cream) DOES rise to the top and stands out when you hear it.. Kayla Luky's last two project were definitely CREAM! She's a damn fine ambassador for Canadian Roots music!!
