Why do I want to become a Student Senator?

I would like to use this opportunity to become a voice for the student body of Illinois Wesleyan University. As an international student, I believe I can effectively convey the thoughts and concerns of the international student body who, including myself, represent a unique group of student with equally unique and important constituent concerns. I would like to contribute to a more equally represented student body through my involvement in the Student Senate.
