As a Californian, I am one of the privledged minority who live in a state that has a Katy Perry song devoted to it. However, I am not everyone. Californians and Nevada citizens can count themselves among the lucky few; however, Oregonians, Arizonians, Utah-ans, and Colorodians, to name a few, are not in the blessed position I am in. I find it very statesist that Katy Perry will write a song about California, or a song about Nevada, but not write a song about North Dakota or Arkansas!
