If people took the time and actually read the song lyrics and the context that they were song in... they would understand the INTENT was not to mock African-Americans... but quite the opposite. (Paul Robeson even did his own version)

If we erase history we will go on to repeat it. Removing this statue is indecent. You forget all she did for our country. Bowing to pressure by a few is not what America is about. Let's find her a new home where she will be loved and respected for all she did for us
