If they think that shutting Kartel early will decrease the violence in Norwich, they are sadly mistaken. Bottlenecking Norwich's nightlife into one street is a very quick way of exacerbating the situation down Prince of Wales Road. We all go to Kartel because we DON'T want to be on Prince of Wales Road past 3am. It's a dive and all we want to do is enjoy great music alongside fellow music lovers. Plus the bouncers and bar staff are alert, polite, and professional.

Kartel is the ONLY club in Norwich I would feel safe enough to go to alone. you never get groped, I've never seen a fight, they do nights for charity, they're great. other clubs on prince oof Wales road are absolutely awful and scary to go to, target them and leave Kartel alone.
i live in london but i went here once when i visited my brother and i think it would be a real loss to the young people of norwich if it lost the license! its not unsafe! its somewhere for people to go and wind down after a night out instead of going to some weirdos house and taking loads of drugs

Heath road, Lowestoft. NR339LY. I have only ever seen a problem here once and that was caused by the police assaulting a 7st Asian girl, using far too much force, being brutal, provocative and handling the entire situation terribly. It was shocking and disgraceful to witness. I have been going to Kartel for many years, it is the only place in the city I enjoy going to and for someone who does not live in or near the city having a late license is convenient as the wait to get a train home is short. Now I have to wait almost 3 hours to get a train with nothing to do. This has really put me off coming to Norwich at all
