I've seen this practised on fethiye harbour and I've never agreed with it. Let's hope it's stopped soon.

Please stop the feeding. I have seen turtles killed or injured by fishing hooks and boat propellers because they swam to close to boats, often in expectance of food. It's so much more rewarding just to spot them by chance!

This is using the turtles as a business. Perhaps the people going on these 'feeding trips' don't realise the damage this is doing to the turtles' natural behaviour.

Turtles must be left to feed naturally. Tourists who feed them or pay to see them fed are, perhaps unknowingly, hugely endangering the turtles' survival. Please don't.

Loggerhead Turtles must be protected as they are so vulnerable but this is exploitation in the ridiculous guise of conservation! Listen to those who really care & understand these wonderful creatures.

I support the work of Captain June and the turtle hospital for sick turtles at the bus end of the beach.
