There should be no feeding of any wild animal. Why must we humans always cause damage to other animals, however unintentional.

I have seen this feeding first hand and it is absolutely barbaric. To get the turtles to come to the surface they dangle a blue crab on a fishing line and every time that the turtles get close they pull the crab out of it's reach until it eventually breaks the surface.

I fully support the conservation of these beautiful animals. I no longer do tour boats or trips which may interfere with their natural cycle

These are beautiful wild creatures who need leaving alone to live and breed in total freedom. They are definitely not a tourist attraction to be lured away from their usual habitat by poor quality food by unscrupulous individuals.

Feeding the Loggerhead Turtles is bad practice and discourages natural feeding. They are salt water sea creatures but this year I saw them in the freshwater river near the town. The practice of feeding the Nile Turtles by restauranteurs should also
be stopped.

It may help to educate the tour organisers and the boats staff about the harm that the feeding practice causes. Perhaps even educating the visitors too?

It was great to meet you on the bus but it saddened me to hear how feeding bread to the turtles is affecting them.
I wish you every success in your campaign. It's time we learned to respect turtles & give them space they need.

Dalyan and the surrounding area are beautiful, as are the majestic turtles that come to breed there. The people of Dalyan and Turkey must do everything they can to protect this amazing ecosystem and ensure the survival of the turtles that make the area famous.
