My name is Caren Anderson, I am a former sudent of Kaplan University. I lived through the Kaplan nightmare with many others and Iam now looking at a $45,000 bill I will never be able to pay back. I live in the city of Cleveland and was informed that the associates in Criminal Justice I earned is not recognized in Ohio. I beleived the Kaplan recruiter from the very start on the kind of jobs I would be qualified for and the salary that would go along with it. He was very persistent and called me daily unitl I enrolled. With everything that has happened in regaurds to the For-profit colleges is great. The one thing I have not seen is any kind of restitution for the victims of kaplan. If it was not for what the recruiter had promised me etc... I would of never enrolled at kaplan. (you can call it fraud, lieing, misreprentation ??). There are many others in the same position I am in. Kaplan made there fortune off of the people I am speaking of now. Make Kaplan accountable to those students that were lied to and was misled into signing with kaplan. If kaplan is not made to do this they will of won.
