So-called "gun free zones" are soft targets and attractive to terrorists. Allowing lawful carry of arms serves as a deterrent to terrorists.. Reject amending the current law.

I opposed any changes to weaken KS Personal and Family Protection Act or Second Amendment, or Article 4 of KS Bill of Rights! I support preemption of Board of Regents or Universities to impose regulations on methods of concealed carry!

Time to go by facts and actual experience, rather then hype and an it-gun agenda based upon nothing. There is no logical nor good reason for the proposed bans and changes in the present laws on campus carry, etc.

To allow a few to dictate rules and regulations that are supposed to be established by our elected officials is not the way to do things. College 'officials' only have their personal best interests in mind and do not take into account that they are creating an area where violence can roam free. Criminals do NOT care about the law, that is why they are called 'criminals'! Allowing law abiding citizens their 2nd Amendment Right to bear arms will allow protection when and if needed. Police or even Campus Security are never in the correct spot at the right time. Allowing concealed carry on campus will have all those intent on doing harm wondering whom and where are those that can protect themselves and others against violence. Since the Kansas Concealed and Kansas Constitutional Carry has been Law, I have yet to see the blood running in the streets as the 'naysayers' have constantly quoted.
Please pass this bill and send it on to the Governor for signature.

A God given right to self-protection. No one should have that right taken away because the "bad guys" will continue to carry everywhere, they do not follow the law.

The Constitution of the United States and the constitution of Kansas were written to protect our civil rights from government. State-funded schools are part of the government and our civil rights do not stop because we are under their control.
