This boutique studio only allows a small group format for only 12 people. Wipes and cleaning are always part of the practice and I feel more safe attending this studio than any other fitness studio or gym. The one piece of equipment per person limits contact and exposure, unlike weights or moving from station to station with various props. Please carefully consider this situation as it is unique and deserving of being an open business.

Small fitness studios that can appropriately distance socially are a value to the community and steps should be taken to support them safely and immediately

Classifying smaller, boutique fitness facilities that have less than 10 people in a given building/class, with a larger facility that can have >100 in a facility at one time, is unfair. Please allow smaller facilities to open in Phase I.

One size does not fit all situations and it is not fair to the truly small business community. A studio that literally will have max 12 people in it during a non Covid environment that is willing to scale back to no more than 6 should not have be included in the mega gyms that in any given day could have 200 plus people on premise. Waiting until June will destroy small businesses like this. I beg you to please reconsider them as part of phase 1. Phase 3 just does not make sense.

Please allow the small exercise boutiques to open for business in Kansas on May 4, 2020. This community is so essential to their customers and employees. We need to get back to stay fit and healthy, while portraying a positive attitude and you can help with that by allowing these businesses to be open. I am not afraid of exercising in their studio; it was very clean and sanitized before and I know it will be even extra clean now. I work out at The BodyLab and CycleBar Leawood. This is a spectacular community and we encourage and rely on each other to keep us fit and healthy. Thank you.
