I was fortunate that my breast cancer was diagnosed and treated with chemo and radiation I am very aware of many who are not so lucky. I absolutely support the funding of Kadclya.

Kadcyla is another drug with demonstrated benefits for certain types of metastatic breast cancer. Currently, the cost of close to $10,000 per cycle makes it unaffordable for most people who.coukd benefit. Please increase Pharmav funding so that efficacious drugs can be funded... in our lifetimes.

This needs to be fully funded and free to cancer sufferers NOW. Come on NZ govt, this is a disgrace that sufferers have to fundraise for this, especially as the drug is being used with success in the UK, USA, and Australia, just to name a few countries. You found the money easily enough for Foreign Affairs - a whole 900 million dollars!! FUND THIS NOW!!!

We need this. Cancer does not discriminate and it happens to such young women with young families and it is heartbreaking. They need MORE time with their families so their families can remember what life was like having one of their most important cherished people around.

Time for these drugs for metastatic breast cancer to be funded. IT’S NOT GOOD ENOUGH, Dr Clarke! I am in North Dunedin and you are my local MP. I’ve always voted for you. Please do the right thing as Health Minister. Australia funds these drugs and fewer women die. That’s a fact.

It’s about time meds for all forms of cancer are funded. It’s hard enough getting scripts, picking up pills every 10 days let alone how this illness affects all those around us as well... put yourself in our shoes!
