We, the undersigned Juventus fans have had enough. Despite the many flaws in the Calciopoli trial, we accepted the punishment. We supported Juventus during a radical change in players and administration, and during purgatory in Serie B.
Upon returning to the top flight where we rightfully belong, a conspiracy has been actively working to deny Juventus the rightful victories we deserve. The past is over, but the current wrongs must be fixed.
This year's championship has seen referees making terrible decisions and granting absurd penalty kicks, starting with the Coppa Italia game against Parma and continuing until this weekend in the infamous Napoli-Juventus game that was so unbelievable it provoked outrage universally.
Reviews have shown that despite conceding five penalties, all but one have been extremely questionable. Against Cagliari the referee awarded three penalty kicks against Juventus, one which was withdrawn when a referee's assistant convinced the main referee that is was ridiculous. Against Udinese we were denied a clear penalty on Nocerino and disallowed a goal by Iaquinta for bizarre reasons. In the clash against Roma, Francesco Totti's clearly offsides position was not noted and his first goal stood. Against Fiorentina, Nicola Legrottaglie was penalized for a questionable handball. And as we all know, this weekend the referee fabricated two penalties to give Napoli the victory, with even Napoli's president admitting the penalties were dubious. The commission has acted rightly to ban Marcelo Zalayeta for diving, but apologies and bans do not make up for the points that referees are constantly costing Juventus. Isolated incidents are a small problem, but this season we have seen systematic discrimination against Juventus. It is time for this to stop.
The undersigned Juventus fans demand Mr. Bergonzi's prompt termination and an apology from the FIGC for its' continuing bias against Juventus as well as an immediate departure from this policy. We also demand the Juventus management stand up for Juventus or resign, they did not stand up for us during Calciopoli, and they are not standing up for us now. We demand they take action immediately to defend Juventus or leave the club.
Sincerely,
the undersigned fans-
