10 years for driving the car is more than enough time. Common sense has to have a place in our justice system

I saw serving life and it brought tears to my eyes. Justin is clearly innocent. Yeshe was there but he didn't do it. It was just a case of bad choice making. He deserves an second chance. I am apart his movement to justice. I dont know him but I love him already. #JusticeForJustin

I just watched "Serving Life" and was deeply moved by it. I believe Justin's sentence is extremely harsh considering he was not involved in the shooting. This law needs to be changed!

Life in prison is a harsh punishment for someone else's crime.

Sad situation really, being in the wrong place at the wrong time should never constitute the right to take someones life for a crime they didn't commit. My opinion LA state is no better.

I have been researching Justin's story and find it disturbing that a state that has gone through such tragic events has an antiquated justice system that doesn't allow for second chances. Had you been the shooter, I might think differently. I will continue to follow your story, Justin. God is using you where He has you at this time. Hang in there. Have hope in the possibility of change in the justice system in Louisiana.

The punishment does not fit the crime. In my opinion putting Justin behind bars with the sentence he received is a crime itself.

He made a poor decision. This is a charge that does not fit the crime. He did not participate in the crime.

He admits to making a bad choice but he did not participate in the actual crime. He does not belong in prison. The Louisiana justice system must be fixed.

My heart goes out to Justin. Prison is not where he belongs. He understands that his actions required some sort of consequences, but to take him out of society for the rest of his life is absurd!! He is not a murderer. It is such a sad shame. How does Louisiana's court system sleep at night? *Prayers* for JUSTIN. xo

Release him. He should not be convicted for the actions of another. Louisiana is backwards & rediculous!

I have read Justin's story and feel the punishment given him his far too harsh for the part he played in this horrible incident. I feel he has done his time. Please free him!

This is not fair to someone who made a stupid decision of going with some friends and things went wrong. How many of us volunteer to the needy or dying or try to better our community? He has nothing else but prison but yet he decided to make a difference and make the best of it. This is not fair to someone who did not commit the act. How is it that rapists get less seen sentences yet someone who did not even pull the trigger but stood their silent yet not is in regret and helping others is serving life in prison?

Free the man, I mean, come on, life for waiting in a car? What a waste of a good human life.
