He don't deserve to be in Prison. There are people out there that actually deserve to be in prison and you don't really worry about catching them and putting them in Jail, but you get a young man and the wrong place with people he thought he could trust and knew and at the wrong time and he gets life. What happen to the guys who actually committeed the crime are they serving time or did Justin get it all.

I Hope that One day this man is given his freedom and life back, you can truly see the care and compassion in his eyes while doing the hospice program. I myself am a Cna and Deal with these situations myself. It takes a special person to do those duties!

I just watched the documentary and did a search on one of the inmates names helping in hospice hoping to find some contact information to let them know what a great thing they're doing. My first search was for Justin and found this! Glad to see theres family outside of jail helping him out. Although I do feel he should serve some sort of sentence, a life sentence is not justified for the crime when he personally did not do. Although I'm sure Justin would agree that serving some time has helped him out life in prison does not do anything but teach people lessons then not allow them to react them outside like a human being, give them a second chance. Should he end up back in prison then that's another story. But I'm sending this petition in hopes that he does get released and does not end up with life.

Hi, I have watched the documentary last night and I must say it was very moving. Such a young life. Words can't express how sorry and sad I am, not only for Justin but for his famy also. My thought and prayers are with you. Wish you the best of luck with his case.

unbelievable that a individual can be accounted for murder and given life without parole for simply being there, im aware of the case and that he was a getaway driver for a robbery which is wrong., but what he did is no comparison to murder ! the guys served more than enough time already. your laws in louisiana are an absolute joke !

This young man deserves a second chance at having a life. He made a simple mistake that could happen to anyone. He's paid his debt, keeping him in prison doesn't serve society or provide justice. Let him go and try to be a positive person in society.
