Praying for his release , he's paid his dues for the crime committed , I also watched the movie " Serving Life" . I did not know about mandatory sentences in certain states. I think that each case should be looked at for what they are . Again , praying that he will be released .

I'm signing this petition because in my heart I feel his sentence is unfair and I cannot sit here and know that someone's life will be unfairly caged forever till he ends up in the same hospice where he volunteers at. He does not deserve life without parole.

I feel like Justin was a good person who got caught up in the wrong crowd. People say that he should have tried to stop the murder but if those people were capable of murdering someone, why wouldn't they do the same to him. People like to believe that they would always do the right thing, but when you're in the scary situation surrounded by evil people, you would stay quiet too. He deserves a second chance to life and redeem himself.

The laws in Louisiana need to change and be made fair. The only ones who should be convicted are the ones who committed the crime and contemplated along, not the innocent who unfortunately were at the wrong place at the wrong time. This case is always on my mind and close to my heart being that a similar unfortunate indecent happened to one of my loved ones. The laws are different here in Arizona, 5 years was an eternity for us and I know it can't compare to the time Justin has done. Justin's a great guy with a full life ahead of him who deserves to continue with his career goals and life plans. He's no criminal, he has a huge heart, he's very kind and compassionate. He deserves to be free. You will continue to be in my prayers, if the laws don't give the justice you deserve GOD WILL.

After watching serving life I was curious about his case. After reading his story I feel sure that if he were released he would be a successful member of society!

I watched Justin on the Doc. and he is so caring and real, I couldn't help but think this man must be innocent. Let him go so he can live a productive life helping those in need of care.

Praying for the prison gates to open for all of the rehabilitated, worthy, men who have given their lives to Jesus and are doing the Lord's work behind the prison walls; may God's will be done!
My brother was arrested at age 18 and has now served 32 years on a second degree murder conviction. He is a graduate of NOBTS, has been a hospice volunteer, has taught the Reentry program, and now teaches a drug rehabilitation program. The laws have to change, we cannot give up!
I have met Justin while visiting my brother, I pray for his freedom,
