Everyone deserves a second chance in life. Give Justin the opportunity to change other peoples life outside the prison walls. God is about forgiveness and love, so let's forget and love again.

Just watched Serving Life on Netflix and Justin is NOT someone who should be kept behind bars for the rest of his life! He is a wonderful person who is caring and compassionate and should be released.

The punishment does not fit the crime. I hope he gets freedom soon.

Just watched serving life and Justin deserves a second chance life without parole is excessive. While he should be punished for wrongful doing he did not commit murder and it does appear that he has learned greatly from his time behind bars. His involvement in the hospice center is very telling of his progress.

I just watched serving life. I think the Hospice Program is such a great idea. Terrible story why the Justice System fails so Many, like Justin and it should be about rehabilitation and not lock young men up with no opportunity to ever be released. How unjust can the system be and have failed so many. These law makers do not realize how damaging this is to an individual and to the families. Hope they let him free, seems like he served his crime and rehabilitated. And he was not even the one who did the killing! My heart goes out to him and his family.

After some research, I chose to support this petition because I don't feel that Justin's sentence fits his involvement in the crime and his punishment is excessive. Based on his participation in the hospice program, I feel that Justin is a compassionate person who deserves a second chance at a normal life.

This young man did not do anything wrong , did not have knowledge of what was going to happen. He should not be serving time for anything.

I agree 100%. As a Criminal Justice major i too believe that his sentence should have never bee set for life! Watching his selfless acts on camera and working to better himself shows proof enough that he has learned from his mistake. Set him free! There are worse criminals out there, those are the ones who should be put in our over crowding prisons. Not those who have a good nature and charismatic attributes.
