I don't understand why the justice system is the way it is , he was a innocent bystander and I don't see how its okay with ANYONE too serve the time he is serving for a crime he wasn't a part of , he is such a wonderful person and the world could benift tremendously if he were not held behind bars !

He deserves a second chance. When someone like Justin uses his prison time to reflect and not make matters worse by putting the blame on others, he proves that people make mistakes and can learn from them. He takes responsibility for his actions. He is serving time like a compassionate person does (schooling, volunteering, teaching, etc). Justin simply made the wrong choices and was at the wrong place at the wrong time. He deserves freedom!

it isn't right. Living in Canada and seeing people get a mere slap on the wrist for crimes or murder, assault against women, harming and neglecting children and then in Louisiana hearing of this harsh sentence for merely being "there" is ridiculous. Let's start locking up the criminals and starting teaching these folks "in charge" how to tell the difference between a murderer and simply being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
