Justice delayed justice denied. In the case of Mughees and Muneeb, the two innocent brothers who were brutally tortured by police till death in front of mobs, the court is taking considerable time and allowing police to submit fabricated stories against the deceased. Earlier, they granted interim bail to one of prime culprit DPO chuhan who appeared before the court as if he had not connection to the case. This was indeed a most horrifying and despicable act of brutality that was watched by millions of peoples around the World. When, Chief Justice of Pakistan issued suo moto notice, peoples appreciated the move and expected prompt decision. However, the subsequent events that have occurred after the formal court’s proceedings, whereby, the court has taken a lenient view of the brutality and has allowed criminals to defend the killings, the hope of fair trial and justice have some what fainted. Though, we still believe that our court will decide the matter on merit and award punishment to those executed the brutality The crime committed by police is a stigma to our nation and demands prompt justice and severe punishment to those who carried out the aggression in response to orders reportedly given to them by DPO Sialkot Mr. Chuhan and concernred SHO.
