He murdered my daughter. We miss her every day of our lives. He should be living the rest of his life in prison.

I knew them both, but meet them after they were together. Amanda was such a ray of life. 10 years are not enough.

This is a complete injustice. I have a daughter and if this happened to her, I would want the murderer to remain behind bars!

What kind of jury could possibly sleep with that on their conscious?!?!? This absolutely breaks my heart. I'm so sorry for the loss your family has endured

Actually, charges were never reduced. The detectives and the prosecutors maintained it was felony murder the entire time. The jury only convicted him of involuntary manslaughter. As a matter of fact, the judge was dumbfounded at the verdict and told Hill that he was the luckiest defendant he'd ever seen.
Hill admits to cleaning that gun the morning of the incident. The incident happened at 1:30 in the afternoon. He claims he didnt know the gun was loaded. There's only one response to that: BULLSHIT!!!! He admits to not liking her comment (about giving her the change from the money she gave him for lunch), picking up the shotgun, pumping it (to load it), pointing the shotgun at her, and saying words to the effect of "how bout I shoot you instead", then pulling the trigger. That's just plain murder. This is the reason we want him to stay in jail.
