This petition is intended to ensure that the libelous slander of Dr. Lucente and irresponsibility, by the media, stop immediately and be exposed. It is unacceptable that an upstanding respected physician be publicly humiliated and dragged through the mud in an effort to sensationalize scandal in the pages of the "RAGS" called The Daily News and Staten Island Advance. We are asking that all the patients, friends, colleagues and Just Americans stand up and sign this petition. We are also asking all of you to boycott The Daily News and Staten Island Advance until retractions are published, as prominently, as the false accusations have been printed. The slander of a man who has not been convicted of any crimes is both irresponsible and irreprehensible. The damage to Dr. Lucentes well-earned upstanding reputation may indelibly be marked by these "journalists". Thank You, Dr. Lucentes Patient
