RIP baby boy. I am so sorry this happened to you. People that do horrible things like this to innocent babies, human or animal alike, are absolute scum & we, the fighters, the ones who stand up for these sentient beings, need to continue to be a voice for the voiceless! This person who did this to sweet baby Caleb will continue to do so with other animals or human beings. The heinous crime committed should be covered by news channels as to make the citizens aware that we are living amongst a person so sick who can harm anyone. If he can do this to that poor baby pup, will he/she not do that to kids or any other animals...?

Having been a teacher we are trained to spot certain characteristics in early childhood development. Torturing animals is at the top of the list. This person or persons should not be walking the streets. Thank you for your time. I hope Caleb is at peace now.

Tragically, this happened under a jurisdiction that will almost certainly not prosecute Caleb's case to the degree it should be. Under federal jurisdiction as of April 2015, animal abuse and cruelty was upgraded to a Class A Felony, punishable by up to life in prison and a fine of $250,000, with investigation of such crimes as what was done to Caleb under the jurisdiction of the FBI.
