6 days later, no one knows his whereabouts, not his lawyers, his family and friends have heard from or seen him; it was only when the minister of information of the Sierra Leone Government issued a press statement claiming to have arrested him for unfounded allegations. However, there has been no access to him and no information on his whereabouts and has been refused legal due process and representation. Boxx is a family man and is highly respected amongst his peers and currently serves as the northern region organizing secretary of the opposition All People’s Congress Party in Sierra Leone, but has been residing in Conakry Guinea for over 5 years now. Boxx is a devoted family man and an upstanding member of the Sierra Leonean community in Guinea.
We are asking people to sign off on this petition to support our efforts in putting pressure on both the governments of Sierra Leone and Guinea to allow the family and his lawyers to have information on Boxx’s whereabouts and have legal representation. Boxx is a high blood pressure patient that is on medication and being under such stress and duress will certainly increase his pressure and could be potentially fatal without access to his medication.
There was never a warrant for his arrest issued, he was not in any known wanted list, the family only came to be aware of this alleged unlawful arrest when a press release by the Sierra Leone government was issued. Every citizen has a right to basic due process, kidnapping is not the way! Justice must prevail! #wewantjustice4BoxxKonteh!

The arrest of Boxx Conteh is illegal and a clear abuse of power by the paopa regime. They don’t have any evidence of his involvement in the kush traffic or the failed coup. It’s unfair
Abu bakar Boxx konteh has been harassed by the Sierra lone government since 2018. His arrest is unlawful,his human and constitional rights has been violated. There was never a warrant for his arrest,he was not in any known wanted list. I stand with him in solidarity, free him now
