I think it's ridiculous that a petition needs to be signed to bring justice to this case. No one should ever be treated the way he was treated and no one should ever get away with amusing another person no matter if that person is a child or an adult has special needs or not. I'm furious that this case was not handled properly. The abuser should be in jail.

There were probably signs of injury. That is why they waited so long to notify anyone. If it were their child they wouldn't care about visable marks! Plus it does not matter about signs of injury. The minute that teacher put their hands on that child it was a crime!

this child is innocent. this breaks my heart as a mother to a down syndrome child. it's sad we have to fear things like this at school where our children are suppose to be safe.

If this District Attorney cannot do his job then he needs to be fired and that aid should be in jail. If that was my child she would not make it to court. The school should also be held accountable for not reporting for 8 days
