Abuse of children with limited verbal intelligibility must cease and those individuals who abuse our children with special needs in the public educational realm need to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. As parents, we entrust a large portion of the day to these so-called professionals to the care of our children and we expect them to be highly qualified, trained, and supervised, while providing educational care and training to our children with exceptional needs. Web cameras should be made accessible to every parent who has a child with special needs in a public institution. This should be law. Shame on the government for not prosecuting this para-pro AND revoking her license. Special Needs Publications, Mosaic Down Syndrome World, and Speech & language Disorders in Children, collectively and individually, take a stance against bullying and abuse of children with Down syndrome, special needs, and/or speech & language disorders by any individual and/or educational system or government authority. We demand the prosecution this individual and for justice to be served in this matter. We demand an immediate, full investigation.

I am the mother of a 55 yr old Down's young man.................there is absolutely NO good reason that this should happen to ANY child, let alone a special needs youngster...........This individual should be dealt with to the extent of the law!
