I was horrified to see this. School staff should be protecting vulnerable children and there should be legal consequences when their privilege is abused!

if you don't have the patience to work with the disabled, you shouldn't be working in that profession. If she had done this at home to her children, she would be in jail. What makes this any different? This person could go to another school and get a job working with disabled kids again and the next time, it may be something worse. If the DA doesn't do something to stop her from harming or worse, killing, another child. The DA is saying that DS children don't count.

if you don't have the patience to work with the disabled, you shouldn't be working in that profession. If she had done this at home to her children, she would be in jail. What makes this any different? This person could go to another school and get a job working with disabled kids again and the next time, it may be something worse. If the DA doesn't do something to stop her from harming or worse, killing, another child. The DA is saying that DS children don't count.

You cannot justify abuse especially to vulnerable people who cannot stand up for themselves. This needs to go to court and there should be some job losses.
