This child, this life deserves equal protection and equal justice under the law. Every thing possible should be done to prosecute and punish this paraprofessional and to be certain that she never has a job working with children ever again.

The act is abuse, physical and otherwise. Also if nothing was reported until 8 days later, of course any signs have probably faded. No excuse. If no charges are given, that is just telling the world it is okay to abuse children as long as they are unable to report it in sentences to everyone. Saddening and insulting. (parent of child with Down Syndrome)
