I think anyone who attacks a child has a mental illness and needs to be put away in an institution till a shrink deems them safe to be amongst society again. AFTER they get out of jail for their crimes. I hope the kid wasnt affected to terribly bad and my heart goes out to the Boy and his parents.

It doesn't matter if there are no signs of injury -- this boy was assaulted!

People that are entrusted with the care of children, especially special needs children, need to be held to a higher standard. this is a case of child abuse, plain and simple. It is also unlikely to be an isolated incident. If it was a parent or a non eployee there would be criminal charges. This also deserves criminal charges.

I am a Special Education Teacher and seeing stories like this breaks my heart. Nobody has the right to treat ANY child like this.

Harris county is the worst. I had Sunriver commit a felony against me with concrete evidence and Harris County wouldn't press charges.

This should be taking to news channels and then let the DA not file charges !! This so wrong I have a daughter that is Down's and I would stop at nothing till this is taken to the Grand Jury !!!

This is terrible and if this ever happened to my 11 yr daughter with Down syndrome I definitely would settle for this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So if there's no dead body a crime wasn't committed? Or because he can't complain himself, it's not that important? We don't defend the rights of our innocent to the ends of the earth? Those are the rights we need to fiercely guard, those who can't fend for themselves.
